Steelpan Classes in Melbourne start 7 January 2014

Caribvic pan workshop Tony 2013Hello Community

We have great pleasure in introducing Sarah Barnett a Secondary School Music Teacher and qualified private Piano Teacher.

Sarah has worked in the Caribbean for sometime in St. Thomas, Barbados, Bequia, and Canouan Island (in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.)

Sarah first played Pan on Canouan Island when the government of St Vincent supplied Pans as an initiative called ‘Pans against Crime’.
The band leader left and after only about a month Sarah became the leader and arranger; and they were all new to playing Pan.

We are so lucky that Sara now lives in Melbourne and is willing to help us set up the CaribVic Steelband.

We need YOU

Hey! Would love to give this a try, are these classes still running?
Also, would you be able to send me the contact details of a supplier of steel pan drums in melbourne? It is a 21st present for a very passionate musician. Would be incredible if you could help me out!
